I graduated, a convocation award winner, from the University of Alberta School of Dentistry in 2018. I then spent two and a half years studying surgery at the Harvard Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Residency. Since then I’ve been practicing general dentistry in Alberta.
My clinical areas of interest include sedation dentistry, wisdom teeth extractions, bone grafting, dental implant placement and restoration.
I chose the field of dentistry because I love working with my hands, and being able to make a meaningful impact in the lives of my patients. When I was younger I loved building and fixing things with my grandfather who was a mechanic.
What is your favourite sports team? My favorite sports team is the Oilers. I grew up in Edmonton and played hockey throughout my childhood. I will always remember the times cheering on the Oilers with my brother.
Recommendations on any books/TV shows/movies? The book I’ve read most recently is The 5 AM Club by Robin Sharma.
What are your hobbies outside of work? My hobbies include walking my dog Pickles Junior, playing tennis, ice hockey and rollerblading.
